This is a cable car ride from Caracas to the Avila Mountain. It takes just 15 minutes for a complete ride. The ride enables one see the Caribbean Sea on one side while watching Caracas on the other side. The view is unbelievably beautiful and gives one the feeling of sailing along with the clouds. To experience the ride one has to brave severe rush. As weekends are packed so one must prefer going up during the week.
Parque Los Chorros is 4.5 hectares of nature reserve. Located at the foot of Caracas Avila Mountain, it has the only natural waterfall in a capital city park. The landscape spans several levels. One has to descend more than 100 steps, tunnels, bridges and benches in order to view large trees, mountain springs and lush green vegetation. As a perfect place for the nature lovers, this place must be included in one’s itinerary.
This architectural complex consists of 2 churches. They are Santa Teresa and Santa Ana. The Church of Saint Theresa was declared a Basilica by Pope Paul VI. It is the best known and visited of the twin churches. This is because El Nazareno de San Pablo is venerated inside the Church. The Basilica also houses certain very valuable colonial objects.

The cultural Complex Teresa Carreño, also known as Teresa Carreño Theater, is one of the most important Theaters of Caracas and Venezuela, where performances include symphonic and popular concerts, opera, ballet and plays. It is located in the cultural center of the city near the Caobos Park and the building that was occupied by the Caracas Athenaeum up to 2009. It houses two concert halls: the Jose Felix Ribas hall and the Ríos Reyna hall. The theatre was built on a lot of land of 22 thousand square meters. The theater was called after the pianist Teresa Carreño.
inside the Pantheon, on both sides of the main recess that contains the tomb and monument to the Liberator, there are the statues of Francisco de Miranda and Antonio José de Sucre, respectively. Along the whole of the side walls, there are monuments dedicated to the First Republic, José Gregorio Monagas, Andrés Bello, José Antonio Páez, Rafael Urdaneta and José María Vargas and other important Venezuelan people. Art galleries located in various floors of the building organizes various national and international shows from time to time. The rooms of the building also house a church, a hotel, numerous conference halls, concert rooms and entertainment center. Shopping facilities are also provided inside the building. Many shops, cafes and restaurants draw large numbers of guests for a visit to this place. The building also house 2 office blocks and 7 residential blocks. The residential blocks have more than 44 flats. The most amazing feature is the several gardens located in the different parts of the building.
